Travel Allowances and Accommodations: When a Healthcare Practice is offering additional $/km or flat $ compensation for travel.
You will see one or both of these icons in the shift list.
The $/km calculates a round trip from your address to the Healthcare Practice location address. If a Healthcare Practice is covering accommodations, they will disclose the details in the comments section of the shift(s).
You cannot request Travel Allowances, and / or Accommodation Coverage for shifts that you've already been accepted for.
Typically, if you do not see either of the Travel Allowances, and / or Accommodation Coverage icons, then the Healthcare Practice is less likely to accommodate those types of requests. However, most rural locations are open to the discussion.
