# How Does RB Pay Payment Processing Work for Healthcare Providers?

## Learn what happens after a shift is completed and how RB Pay processes the payment.

### How Does RB Pay Payment Processing Work for Healthcare Providers? 

Once a shift is completed, RB *Pay* will process the payment after the shift hours have been confirmed by both the healthcare professional and the healthcare provider.

#### Step 1: The Healthcare Professional Submits Their Hours

After completing the shift, the healthcare professional submits their worked hours through Relief Buddy.

#### Step 2: The Healthcare Provider Verifies the Hours

The healthcare provider reviews the submitted hours and confirms that they are correct.

Once the hours have been confirmed, the shift is marked as acknowledged in the Relief Buddy system and is ready for RB *Pay* processing.

#### Step 3: RB *Pay* Processes the Payment

After the shift has been acknowledged, Relief Buddy sends the payment information for RB *Pay* processing.

This process can take **up to five business days** while the payment information is validated and the applicable funds are processed from your account.

You do not need to take any additional action once the hours have been confirmed unless the Relief Buddy team contacts you for additional information.

### When Will I Receive My Shift Statement?

Once the payment has been processed, a copy of the applicable shift summary will be sent to the email address associated with your Relief Buddy owner account.

You can also access historical RB *Pay* statements through the **View Statements** option within your RB *Pay* settings.
